Great idea re- the shifter hole. I have a '71 with a C-6 and I'd like to use a B&M shifter but I don't want to hack up the tunnel.
Nice job - you're almost there! How long did it take you and what parts did you use? I'm about to go through the same fun (probably even a bit more) on my '71 this Summer.

JRP, I bought the floor pans and frame rail from a vintage Pony guy in Toronto. Other than that I have sourced out anything else from donor cars I have, eBay, Kijiji, swap meets etc...
And yes JTS71...Grabber Lime (71 colour), yes we Canadians have a "u" in color.
I have had this car about 6 years, I actually bought it as a donor car but quickly realized I should proceed with this one as my other one was a little worse off. I went hard for about 6 months on it with the metal work then spent the next 4 years buying parts and golfing lol. Just got back into it recently with the intention to drive it in the coming spring.
