New guy browsing for future plans
#1
Joined so I could follow other people's projects until I can get my hands on a 69 Mach 1 which will come after I get my shop built this year.

Just going to be looking for ideas and see how you guys have done yours to get the creative juices flowing.

A couple things I have planned or would like to do and will be searching for information if anyone has done it before, is to put in an aftermarket front k member and put in a late model fuel injected engine (coyote or along those lines). Figure I will need to do a shock tower delete and wasn't sure what process that may involve as well.

Hopefully I don't get beat up to much with the plans. I like the old style but enjoy the modern performance as it will see a test and tune day once or twice.

Welcome to the site. I'm a stock kinda guy and I like driving my 73 convertible for the nostalgia effect, but I also understand the desire to restomod too. I'm sure you will get to good feedback here on your proposed mods.

Welcome...I can appreciate your plans and there are plenty of people (maybe not here) that have upgraded to more modern performance options. I don't know if anyone has seen Ken Block's 850 HP, carbon-fiber. all-wheel-drive 1965 Mustang video but it shows you can doing almost anything with these cars: Here's the link:

Enjoy!

Yeah I've seen Ken's 850hp tire fryer! I simply wish I had the unlimited budget to go with it. Roflmao1 JTS 71 Mach1
