Hello,
I am in the process of convincing this old guy who lives close to me to sell me this 1969 Mustang Mach 1 R Code. The car never left Louisiana and he did some changes to it, like paint and a different 428 engine. He lost interest in completing it so I want to jump on it and buy it but he still hesitant. What would be a good value for this car. I attached some pictures and Marti. It looks like he did a lot of work to it. He is the 2nd owner and it only have 53K miles on it ( on the body ) Thanks yall.

Welcome to the Club! It would be great if you can talk him into selling it. That being said. It is a somewhat rare Mach1, seeing as it was a 428 R code 4 speed, and a drag pack car originally, It has been modified quite a bit from stock. Doesn't look like anything that can't be undone, but at what cost? So the value is not going to be near what an original example of this car would bring. I would look for an Evaluation site for Classic cars? Hagerty, Grundy Ins, has an evaluator, don't know much about it. Look up Barret Jackson, on you tube and search to find a 69 Mach1 that went across the auction block. That should give you some Idea.![[-]](https://mach1club.com/images/collapse.png "[-]")
