George I noticed your Mach's don't seem to have rear deck spoiler or chin spoilers? How come??

Neither came with spoilers from the factory. I like the clean look without them.

I agree, I also like the look without them. I doubt if the spoilers were designed to give any advantage at all at the speeds we can drive on the street.

No I know the rear spoiler and the chin spoiler were dealer add ons, just was curious why someone didn't add them.

Not sure why no one ever added them, but I'm glad they didn't. I believe the rear spoiler was a factory option because I have seen that listed on invoices. Like the antenna, it may not have been installed on the vehicle until it reached the dealer.

George I did some investigating on my own 1972 MACH 1 and found that the rear spoiler was factory installed but the front spoiler was dealer installed. I've owned my car for 30 yrs and always thought it was a factory option but I found the front spoiler wasn't ever available on 71-73 MACH 1

Looking at the pictures of the "totaled" '72 makes me appreciate the fact that mine is still here - it has almost as much damage as yours. I guess mine was probably "totaled" at some point but luckily it never made it to the crusher. NOW it's worth repairing.
